I wanted a standing desk, then I got caught ordering all of the parts off of Amazon. Now we have TWO standing desks. These things are pretty nice, they are electric and flat. The flat thing is probably the most important.

REDECORATING MY BROTHER'S GARAGE (while he’s out of town...)
Переглядів 4,5 тис.3 місяці тому
Art or revenge? You be the judge!
It makes sense to me why the automated parking works as it does. If you are in a wide open parking lot with plenty of parking spots open, you really shouldn't need to use it so it's set up to look for open spots next to a car already parked figuring that you need help parking in the middle of that spot. That's why it stopped at the open spot next to the truck.
Is that Bendpak HD 9ST 4 post lift? How tall is your garage?
There sure is a lot of “WE” talk at the beginning… that could IMPLY that I had something to do with the parts washer shenanigans… which could in turn suck me into a prank war that I should not be involved in… 😮 (I’m an innocent bystander)
You know what they say- innocent until proven pranky
I see some video footage of your assistance sir. If I’m an accomplice, I believe you should be one too 😂
@@demareeh1 that’s C.G.I. Nobody was there.
I’m glad they went cheap on their wedding! Bravo! The $10 gift cards are genius! I still can’t believe Alan let go of portrait pegboard!
Sometimes drunkenness inspires great things. Congratulations to the newlyweds.
You all should have a million subs. I'm from the BOB day's.
BOB appreciates you!! (And so do we)
For even smoother service you need to employ a lift girl 🎉
Now that you mention it, yes!
Pink skirt... lick!
Double escalation, well played.
"Enjoy married life $10 at a time". That's actually really great advice! Nice touch.
Huh? But your brother and his wife went on a trip just 4-5 months ago?! Quick development
Hi, you could put your extension cord reel up in the center of your garage and attach it to the truss so that you can use it on both sides. pull it straight down when in use. its what we had at a dealership i worked at.
I just biught a 2022 5.0 with less than 12,000 miles on it. My transmission hasn't been shifting the smoothest. I read somewhere that you can unhook both battery terminals for 15 minutes and it resets the transmission. I did that last night, and so far it's shifting super smooth. Hopefully it keeps up!
Amazing job
The whole reason I got ForScan was to clear the transmission history. I have to clear it about every oil change. Totally worth it.
The felt/rubber is to dampen rattle sounds. Otherwise metal cover on metal rail = noise
We swapped comments a couple of years ago and since then I have decided to order a diesel Escalade before they discontinue that engine option. Do you have any words of wisdom or advice that I should know about? Thanks and BTW, I will probably order it from the dealership in Grapevine.
It’s still going strong. The only thing that’s gone wrong was the backup camera would intermittently work. Turned out to be a video control module that was replaced under warranty (and Sewell came and picked up the car to fix it, which was awesome). We had a good no hassle buying experience there. If Mickey is still there give him your business. I’m planning some more mods for it in the next few weeks so stay tuned!
@@ZeroToAwesome Thanks for the info. I have already established a dialog with Mitch J..., so I had better stay with him.
@@ZeroToAwesome One other thing, I am going to get the Platinum Trim because of the nicer trim and features. I am undecided on the console cooler. It would be nice on road trips, but I would sacrifice some storage area when it is not being used as a cooler. Got any thoughts that might influence my decision? Thanks again.
@@thexoftexas4267the console is kind of small to begin with for how big of a vehicle it is. If you just want the cooler for road trips I’d pick up a 12v fridge with an ac adapter and stash it in the rear passenger area or trunk when you hit the road. There’s outlets in both places that would work
@@ZeroToAwesome Thanks for the feedback.
looks awesome! I really like the accent wall. May i ask how you did it? Type of wood? Colors used?

Hey I bought a Access Lorado Roll-Up tonneau cover in 2010 and it has been great. Always parked outside, i have no garage or carport, little to no shade all day. It has been rolled down most of the 14 years, stayed rolled up for about the past 5 years until 2 weeks ago rolled it back down. The hook strip on bed rail is wore out but it still stays down when driving. The fabric is fine.
I have two words for all those tools on the wall. Tool grid. It's a damn shame, guys, like that have the money for a shop like that and don't know what to do with it. Lol. I'm not trying to troll lol. Great shop brother.
👍👍👍
This is probably the same guy that thinks there is a difference between 18v and 20v.
Yes, 2 volts.
Just found this video and it seems like that’s what my truck might be doing. It started happening whenever my turbo would hit around 15 psi, but it only does it for me when I’m trying to climb hills with or without load. I’ve been forcing a downshift into fifth and a mild speed reduction to get it to stop, but no check engine light has come on. It’s like the engine would cut out with almost a jerking motion. Does it sound similar to yours?
Sounds about the same. Load or no load hitting the throttle up a hill it would do it
It looks amazing! The funniest part was when the Healy runs…
If, when, maybe….
It's a ford, total crap! I've got myself a lemon also.
What you didn’t show is how you added the drawer slide, where you connected it to, how you installed them.
Just screw them to the wood with 1/4” screws
That is unfortunate about the parts washer. What I fear is more unfortunate is that there’s another part of it somewhere…
Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep
I thought your high school portrait was mounted in Stephen’s tree? Was it deemed a zoning violation and forcibly removed by the city?
Had to be removed to make space for a even larger portrait.
Did torqueing those lower shock bolts to 400 ft lbs solve the clunking issue for you?
It did!
Now all you need is a parts washer… …to go next to that crushed VW. Or I can sell you one that’s not crushed 😁
I’m in the market for a new VW. All I need is the roof though.
@@ZeroToAwesome I have one avail and it comes with a bunch of extra parts like the rest of the body, running gear, etc. (Would need to be disassembled)
Did you just find the loophole to justifying unlimited cars? “I didn’t buy another one, just picked up some parts”
I’m just wondering when you would wear that hard hat? Sleep deprivation causes those kinds of failures.
Ironically the hard hat is legitimate OSHA approved equipment that was a give-away at a work event. Still hasn’t seen any legitimate construction.
Looks great. Bummer you added to your to do list, but at least you have a great place to do the work!
I think be learned that the garage will always be a work in progress. So maybe it’s always “mostly done”.
Seems like a pickle beer was in order after parking the V-dub.
I was SO angry at myself I didn’t even consider a pickle beer in the moment. Unfortunately that price will have to be paid, probably going to have to make a trip over to the pickle beer brewery and buy a pitcher.
I don’t think you have enough things on your walls 🤔
More tools you say?
Good god this is sounding like how my project started. “Hey I should use the quieter air compressor. Oh the cord needs to be 3’ longer. Oh my 20a circuit only has 2-15a outlets. Let’s make it four 20a outlets. Oh, now I need to patch hole I made when I ended up having to shift the box down. Hey why don’t I finally finish out this wall……”
Exactly! Next time we start with dynamite and build from scratch.
@@ZeroToAwesomei have enough land that I can just have another building built 😂
The dream!!
@@ZeroToAwesome lol right?!?!. Bigger land would be mo betta but it works. Lol
Fun fact! Usually at the end of the video we put some funny clip or outtake. Today you get to see me crush the VW with the car lift. Coming to the channel soon, “Installing a Vintage VW roof rack”.
Oops! 😅
Shouldn't that say build/fail/pickle beer? Nice job. I like the wood rule. I have a pile of scrap wood things. BTW, The SuperClean stuff is nice! .
Might have to break the paint back out and make that change!
@@ZeroToAwesome Well, have a pickle beer for the fail on the sign ... Make it a tall boy for the VW. 😁
Going to have to buy a whole new six pack for that one…
I have that exact Homak box and it has SO much space.. That thread checker is sick! I need to get me one of those too! Great organization and awesome setup!
Worst tool review I've seen. You just aren't understanding this tool. I'd go back and watch it again to point out (and correct) all the things you got wrong, but I just can't watch it again. Sorry bro.
MAN BAD GARAGE OKOKOK😅😂😊😊
I’m debating on painting my ceiling dark. Also considering those lights if I could just find 5000k coloring. What on earth did you use for that wall treatment that resembles flooring?
It’s just tongue & groove with some paint: ua-cam.com/video/mIJHE0p0Mjc/v-deo.htmlsi=iEZROiyfkrhrA6ia
You are right, you have no idea what you are doing. Torque test channel showed the tool does higher than 70 ft-lbs. And even though dewalt is part of Stanley Black&Decker, they have been able to keep their quality up and are the high end pro tools of the SBD family. I really need to mark this site as DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Just watched and great ideas love the thread checker
I just bought a aluminum locking box and bolted it under my back seat. Cheaper and stronger than all the plastic "storage" open top options.
Thread checker FTW! Didn't know i needed one till watching this.
88k miles and my 2020 ecoboost just started chugging under hard acceleration guess I'll be looking into this
Wheeling at Starbucks, you living a dangerous lifestyle. Nice upgrade.
I would at least give them a chance to make it right sheesh.
37s? Say goodbye to your fuel economy! Hello to looking cool! My older F250 has a 4-inch lift and 37s. Now I have to lift everything higher to get it in the back of the truck! You only get about an inch of ground clearance…
Good for looking cool but not much else! Might become a tshirt…
😂 I also put 37 and engine swap to a Godzilla 7.3 and gas mileage is almost like a hummer 😂 but looks and sounds awesome 👏 ❤
“You have enough room, if you have enough determination.“ Science! 🤌🏼😁
That curb flex at the end though! 🤣🔥
